In this important course pupils learn how bullying makes people feel, the different typed of bullying, why people bully and that the bully and the victim often have a lot in common. Pupils are encouraged to empathise with somebody who has become involved in a bullying situation and conclude the course by suggesting some solutions to the problem.
- This is the opening course of the year 7 Citizenship programme and is designed to teach pupils to understand their identity as a citizen at a personal, local, British and Globalscale. Pupils should be made aware of the rights they are granted and can earn along with the need to act responsibly so as not to affect the rights of another.
